Cobras Release TE Aaron Muhammad To Boise Bandits For A Better Fit

The Seattle Tacoma Cobras are building new talent to catch a lot of balls this season. Newly acquire TE  Aaron Muhammad and along with Maurice Shaw will be ready to take on all others. Aaron is 6'4 255 out of Western Illinois University and teammates of Raynard Pamilton.  "We value his leadership qualities and will bring a new work ethic to the team"~ B.Morris

While at WIU Aaron was voted team captain as a senior. Aaron played in all 11 games and started nine times… earned the start during the season-opener at Sam Houston State… selected Honorable Mention by the College Football Performance Awards following the Jacksonville game… caught then career-high three passes for 20 yards and a TD… made two receptions totaling 10 yards against Southern Illinois… matched his career total finishing with two touchdowns at Indiana State (3 and 33 yards)… career-high totals of five receptions totaling 60 yards at ISU… earned his second Honorable Mention accolade by the College Football Performance Awards following the game… 5-yard catch against Missouri State… two receptions for 34 yards at Youngstown State… received the program's Red Miller Award following the season.

As a Junior Aaron Played in 12 games… caught a 16-yard touchdown pass as his first collegiate catch in the Sam Houston State game… 22-yard catch against Youngstown State… four-yard catch against Illinois State.

AT TYLER COLLEGE: Named Second Team All-Conference his sophomore year after earning Honorable Mention honors his freshman season… caught 34 catches during his two-year career with two touchdowns.
While in High School Aaron Lettered in football and basketball… Second Team All-State Class 4A and First Team All-Conference his senior year… named team Most Valuable Player… Second Team All-Conference following his junior season in football (both offense and defense) and basketball… caught 56 passes his senior year for four touchdowns… also made 30 tackles, seven sacks and blocked two punts… played for coach Duke Christan.
