Darrion Jones Joins The Cobras Great Defense.

Darrion Jones will be a big force when it comes to this season with the Tacoma Cobras.  Being an impact player with Huskies in 2009 and 3 year letter earner. Cobras are looking for Jones to be the final piece to the linebacker core and stand up Defensive End.  " We are look forward in seeing Jones come of the edge and blitz .  We truly think he will do very well in the defensive scheme." add McEachern  Cobras just added Tyler Vlasak 6'0 245 from University  of Puget Sound to there already talented linebacker core Paul Stevens (WSU) , Josh Tuani, Brandon Huppert (UW) and Elijah Davis (UTEP). Jones 2009: Played in 11 of 12 games, missing the Idaho game … made seven starts at defensive end (LSU, Arizona, Arizona State, Oregon, Oregon State, Washington State, California) … finished the season with 21 total tackles, including four and a half tackles for loss and two sacks . 2008: Appeared in all 12 games … started the first nine games of the year at the defensive end spot opposite of Daniel Te'o-Nesheim … season-high three tackles in the season-opener at Oregon 2007: After having redshirted the 2006 season, saw action in four games during the 2007 campaign … played at Arizona State, vs. California, vs. Washington State and at Hawai'i … credited with a solo tackle in the Washington State game … named the team's defensive service team player of the week for the USC and Arizona games
